I would like to say a big 'thank you' to all our customers for your support in this our first year.
January sees the release of new levels and more packs for existing levels as we give you the opportunity to enjoy more fun conversation with your students and friends. The topics are great as short time fillers or assignment topics to send students away to research for the next lesson. Here is one more to finish the year off. From the Business Starter pack, I ask you about the aspect of your job that you like most. Is it that you enjoy seeing your customers going away satisfied, or that you enjoy resolving difficult problems. Is it the friendship of your work colleagues or the environment and rewards you get at your workplace? In January, talk with your colleagues about what motivates you to do your best at work....in English, of course. Looking forward to the start of the New Year! Paul

....in this case, 'buy'.
I can list a number of things that we could get for our home, such as new windows for better heat and sound insulation. A new kitchen, too! How about you? What are the priorities in your life? #英語ゲーム Additional packs, new levels and improved designs! Now 9 to choose from!

Over 600 packs sold in only four months! Five new titles and version 2's of the original four sets will be available in late December, so check back soon at www.quizme.jp or paulsenglishgames.com Better still, subscribe for Quiz Me! updates at http://www.paulsenglishgames.com/subscribe-to-updates.html Remember that well known catchphrase, 'Speak freely with Quiz Me!....ly' #英語ゲーム Personally, I love being outside getting exercise and fresh air! Having a garden in which to be creative with design and growing plants makes for a sense of achievement.
I don't even mind if it rains as it calms the spirit, I think. At least, I like to be able to see the environment and weather outside. Which is your choice when you have time? #英語ゲーム From the Business English Starter pack, I chose 'What is the dress code at your workplace?'
I used to wear a collar and tie at my workplace in the UK, but here in Japan I usually wear trousers and a work shirt, which might be know as a business shirt or white shirt. Jeans are inappropriate on a day when I am working, but acceptable if I am at work but not teaching. That's the code we have. How about at the place you work? #英語ゲーム I had been trying to think of a memorable catchphrase for Quiz Me! Conversation cards without great success, until it suddenly came to me as I was driving home the other night,
Here it is on my new business card in the picture. I wanted it to rhyme, but not only that, also to be a little humourous at the same time. What do you think? #英語ゲーム "It is by chance that we met, but by choice that we became good friends." so the wise saying goes. Have you met anyone at any time in your life whom you developed a great friendship with; someone you think was to be an important influence on your life even? There was the business owner, Simon, who noticed my desperate appeal for a job and called me to offer one just when it seemed like I had no other option but to return to my home town. Our work relationship continued happily for many years after that. At day release business college, I was to meet another friend, Phil, with whom I have remained firm friends even though we have both since left our hometown area to live in very different places. Tell us a story of someone you grew to know, like and trust. #英語ゲーム |
