Today, Shoko recalled a radio programme in which there was a story of a flight from Fukuoka to Haneda, which had to return to the airport building from the taxi-way when it was discovered that there was one more passenger than seats !
It seems to have been a mix of human and computer error, in which one seat was booked for two people, as it turns out a father and son. Have you ever been stopped at the airport, and why? Was it a simple or difficult issue to resolve? #英語ゲーム

At the bottom of the card, there is a useful tip for Apple device users.
If you want daily speaking practice to refine your pronunciation and improve your listening, why not talk to Siri? He or she, depending on which voice you choose, will try to provide answers to questions you give in any language you set. Siri doesn't have a great sense of humour and doesn't answer 'personal' questions with much information, but I'm sure you can benefit from trying to communicate with it... him....her......whichever.. Try asking the question on this card. #英語ゲーム Shogo posed an interesting question at lunchtime when he asked whether we knew what caused nosebleeds. He thinks it is down to drinking coffee.
What do you think? Have you ever experienced nosebleeds? More than a full house this morning as many students who had been absent recently returned to tell their stories.
Naoki started by telling us about his recent flight from Haneda which returned to the airport due to an engine shutdown. Have you felt nervous or excited about something recently? One of my students paid her monthly fee for lessons as usual, but when I checked the fee envelope there was an extra penny inside.
What would you do with it? What about if it was the next largest coin, or the one after that? This topic and many more problems await you in the new Dilemmas pack available later this year. To help you get the best from your Quiz Me! cards, look out for tips on how to use them, topic examples and other useful information.
