You can use Quiz Me! conversation cards in a number of ways.
Apart from the standard instructions (downloads on the right) there are a number of variations you could try! Ask a different question! Why not change a word in the question to make a different question using a particular theme? Make a list of 6 numbered themes of any type, then roll a dice each turn or each round to select a theme. To take an easy example, an opposite question theme, if the card shows 'What's your favourite food?', the opposite question would be 'What's your least favourite food?' or 'What food don't you like?' A sport theme might result in What's your favourite sport?' Guess the question! Instead of asking a question to another player, why not say your answer to the card question in one word or a short phrase and let the other players guess the question. If a player guesses correctly, they win the card. If no-one guesses correctly, the player keeps the card. The player with the most cards at the end of the game wins! Set a time limit of 1 minute per card for people to guess and a time limit for the whole game. The shorter the time limit, the more exciting the game! True or false? Why not have fun and confuse the person who asked you a question by asking them to guess if your answer is true or false? If they get it wrong, you give them the card! The player with the least cards at the end of the game wins! Diary writing With 54 cards in each pack, you have more than enough weekly diary topics to last a year! Ask students to choose 3-5 topics randomly by saying a colour code and card number (1-9), then decide which one they prefer. If you have ideas on how to use Quiz Me!, we are more than happy to hear from you. |
